For a useful answer on the first try

  • The error code involved, or the address of its page (the `docs_url` returned by the API).
  • The identifier of the applied rule set, as the response returns it — for example `eu-en16931-2026-08`.
  • The syntax of your document: CII or UBL.
Never send an invoice by email

An invoice carries names, addresses and IBANs, and a mailbox keeps them. To have a file examined, drop it into the validator: it is processed in memory and never stored.
